I love lists! The best way to be able to relax and Enjoy The Journey is to make sure that all the destination planning has been taken care of (I'd be happy to take this one) and the things on the home front are taken care of as well. My checklist below will have this covered for you too.
Both of these destinations are absolutely beautiful and either would make a perfect vacation destination. Be prepared for crowds, especially during the summer months, and whichever area you choose, plan on climbing stairs (an obscene number of stairs). While they have similarities of being groupings of coastal towns and extremely popular with tourists, they are also very unique.
